Spadina Station

Spadina Station's last train pulls out of the station

For more than 8 years, Spadina Station was Toronto's dynamic, versatile and cheeky a cappella quartet.

We performed our own take on original music and best-loved classics – from iconic pop and rock tunes, jazz standards, quirky mash-ups and seasonal holiday favourites. We hope that Spadina Station's entertaining style left you delighting in just how much can be done with just the human voice alone.

In March of 2020, forced to stop singing together by a contagious global pandemic, Spadina Station fell quiet. In Fall 2021, we officially disbanded.

It's been a great ride. Thanks go to singers Marlena McCarthy, Jane Miller, Tyler Smith, Stephen Reich (also our arranger) and founding member Jay Wilson. We also owe warm gratitude to director Sue Miner, who helped us smooth out arrangements, create our choreography, and put together our shows.

Our biggest thanks go to everyone who came out to hear us sing. You gave us a reason to have countless laughter-filled rehearsals, and hone our craft to bring you joy. We had a blast!
